Screen size is not the same as usable page size
At the same aspect ratio, a 7-inch screen has about 36% more area than a 6-inch screen: (7 ÷ 6)² − 1. This is a geometry illustration, not a measurement of these devices, whose proportions and margins differ. For fixed-layout PDFs, check a full page at your preferred text size before choosing a small reader. If frequent zooming is uncomfortable, keeping an existing tablet may be the better decision.
